1. Happiness does not appear outside but rather exist in your own mind. When you realize the truth of the mind, happiness will automatically arise…
2. Meditation is not sitting motionless in one position, but rather must be observed anytime, anywhere. When this observation is so powerful that it doesn’t miss any stage, then the mind will naturally become really calm…
3. Fear is actually just a natural reaction of the mind. When the mind becomes clear and calm, fear will naturally disappear.
4. You want to be rich but do not want to spread hearts of almsgiving. It is like a person who wants to dig for gold without carrying any tools. You won’t be able to dig any gold, but also waste your efforts in vain.
5. Ignorance is also just a definition! Until you realize ‘that definition’ is just ignorance, you really are out of ignorance…
6. Not meditation can help calm the mind, but rather Wisdom can do that. Because everything becomes easy when having wisdom. And of course, nothing can disturb the mind anymore!
7. Seeking the way to avoid the truth only makes your mind more miserable. For the complete eradication of suffering, the only way is to face up and solve with wisdom.
8. When you help another that means you are already helping yourself. Who knows some of them may become your benefactors one day, this is precisely that “If you plant good seeds, you will have good fruit”.
9. Whether you want to or not, you still have to face the loss. The most important thing is the way you choose to face it. However, everything will become easy when solved with wisdom. Because impermanence is always changing but wisdom is always calm as it is…
10. It’s useless to indulge in accumulating wealth or vying for power. Because who knows, Will you still be alive in the next moment? Therefore, rushing into competition and infighting is a waste of time and energy!
11. Removing afflictions is the best way to get happiness. But it’s only practicing the Dharma which can completely remove all afflictions.
12. Happiness or suffering is only a moment apart. When the mind becomes calm, happiness obviously comes. Otherwise, suffering will come when the mind becomes confused. And meditation is the ultimate way to ‘invite’ happiness.
